I was born and raised in Sweden. I began to practice yoga regularly when I moved to Australia in my early twenties. I fell in love with Astanga yoga, which is a highly dynamic style of yoga founded by Sri Pattabhi Jois in India. I spent five years learning the foundation of yoga and meditation under the guidance of Mark Togni, Kathy Mason and Cameron Storey at GCYC. I experienced profound shifts in body & mind and I knew that yoga was my calling.
I completed my first yoga teacher training with Yoga Arts and Louisa Sear in 2006.. More trainings followed over the years as I experimented with other yoga styles. I completed teacher trainings with Baron Baptiste and Duncan Peak. I quit my day job (in media) and I started to offer classes at Power Living (PLAY) and various studios around Sydney.
After five years as a yoga instructor in the city my family and I relocated to Byron Bay in Northern NSW, and this is where we currently live. I completed Byron Yoga Center's teacher trainings and worked for Byron Yoga Centre as one of their teacher trainers for a few years, which in turn inspired me to further develop my skills and learn more about the human body.
Today I offer regular yoga classes (Meditation, Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin and Restorative) and I am working towards a degree in Osteopathic Medicine. I thrive on inspiring people to help themselves and lead a healthier life.
